There was a lot to talk about at the Needham School Committee session, as they received an update from Needham High School on the absentee rate of students and how that is impacting the high school credits they earn. It was, however, the Middle School report that captured their imaginations as they heard from some bright students and new teachers about a curriculum that has everyone thinking about the ways they can improve their civic engagement.
