Needham School Committee, 4/7/26

The Needham School Committee had a very student-focused agenda during their meeting on April 7, 2026. At the beginning of the meeting, Superintendent Daniel Gutekanst and committee members recognized the student champions of the Pollard Tenacity Challenge. They listened to Needham High School Student Club Leaders present from several NHS faith-based groups and heard an update from the Student Advisory Board. The Eliot Elementary School also presented their Improvement Plan at the meeting. There was a brief update on the Pollard Middle School Schematic Design. Towards the end of the meeting, Committee members quickly discussed two action items that were on the agenda; the disposal of surplus IT equipment and transportation vehicles.
