For the week of January 25th, Needham High School had to go fully remote because of COVID-19 spreading among the students. Dr. Daniel Gutekanst, the Superintendent of Public Schools, saw this as a sign that people were not doing what they should to help stop the spread of the virus. He took time at the School Committee meeting on January 26, to urge families to practice healthy behavior, and firm their resolve so that the town can keep the schools open.
