Marathons & New Programs Highlight TNC Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving will see the return of our annual Needham-Wellesley Football Marathon, as well as the brand new game broadcast to The Needham Channel. In addition, we will be debuting several new episodes of our regular series, as well as the pilot of a brand new program!

The Football Marathon begins Wednesday, November 24th on our Education Channel, and will continue into Turkey Day on Education, Community and HD, as well as our livestream here on needhamchannel.org. The 2021 edition of the Oldest Public High School Football Rivalry in the Country will debut Thursday night at 7pm on our HD and Community Channels and online stream, then run again at 8pm on our Education Channel and throughout the weekend.

New episodes of “The Writer’s Block,” “In the Know” and “Making Meals with Mike” will debut before the football premiere Thursday on HD and Community, as well as the first episode of our new program, “Around Town with the Exchange Club.” Please note that the special Thanksgiving Programming will cause regularly scheduled programs like “Democracy Now!” to shift from their regular timeslots. Also, the latest “Making Meals with Mike” is a short program that will feature a Pumpkin Spread Bean Dip and will debut during the premiere episode of “Around Town with the Exchange Club” and will air during breaks in programming on Community, Education and HD.
