It may seem a little anticlimactic after this past weekend’s events, but for last week’s newscast we were looking at the road to the state championship with the Needham Rockets Girls Volleyball team. Before they got to the big game, they were faced with a really tough match-up against Franklin. It was a nail-biter, but the Rockets managed to do what they do best: persevere!
And in anticipation of the State Championship, sports producer Kristen Connors spoke with the coach about how the team was preparing for Newton North:
