LWV Forum: Feeding Our Students

The Needham League of Women Voters have had a fantastically busy week! On Thursday, they held a special forum looking at the Needham Public School’s Nutrition Services. School lunches aren’t what they used to be years ago. Over the last few decades, they have come a long way from frozen pizza, tater tots and chocolate milk! Now they have to encompass proper nutrition, food allergies and preferences, and, beyond food, balance equipment, personnel and budgets. There is a lot to explore, and Director Colin Boisvert and Assistant Director Jen Tuttleman walk you through it.
