• Needham High School juniors presented their advocacy projects at the Civics Showcase on June 10, 2023. Topics ranged from safer local streets to national issues. Before school let out last week, Needham High School juniors had the unique opportunity to have their voices heard. You can say that civic engagement and has become a part of their curriculum, as following a statewide initiative has led these students to researching an issue that they are passionate about, and thinking about how they can promote positive change. What makes this a bit more unusual is that the high school has partnered with the League of Women Voters of Needham to showcase these student projects and allow our world’s future leaders a chance to make their arguments to today’s lawmakers.
