Vigil Returns to Raise Overdose Awareness

• An overview of the second annual Overdose Awareness Vigil on August 31.

For the second year in a row, the Needham International Overdose Awareness Day vigil returned to Memorial Park. A large crowd gathered to remember those lost to overdose, and those who survived addiction. At turns somber and empowering, the event draws attention to the fact that substance use affects every community, and its effects have a lasting impact on more people than you would imagine.
