The first public hearing on the Envision Needham Center project was held as a part of the Select Board meeting. Most of the participants crowded into the hall to share their perspective on the potential reconstruction of Great Plain Avenue in the downtown area. Comments centered on parking, process and commercial viability, with speakers and board members becoming passionate about their concerns.
