It was another late night for the Select Board as they the finishing touches on their preparations for Town Meeting next week. There was a lot to discuss, with a new Citizens’ Petition making it onto the Special Town Meeting warrant, to the withdrawal of a new DPW initiative pending better economic times. The heftiest topic of the evening had to be the financial outlook, where they discussed the town’s ability to take on debt and the impact that it may have on the foreseeable future of Needham, especially in the context of the upcoming Pollard Project.
