It was simply a request to continue a public hearing, but the discussion of the new Chabad being proposed for Central Avenue was the centerpoint of the Planning Board’s evening. They started with an update on where the project currently stood, and then the logistics of when the hearing could continue took on a life of its own. The board also had discussions on zoning for parking, how they fit into Select Board goals, and whether they could change their recommendation to the Zoning Board on whether the Needham Housing Authority needed to bury an electric line for their Seabeds Way Project.
