The school committee may present an interesting way to give back and let your voice be heard. It is a big step, though, and it may help to know what you would be getting into, and check to make sure your expectations are realistic. That is where outgoing School Committee members Heidi Black and Susan Neckes may be of help. Needham Channel municipal producer Yuxiao Yuan spoke with them both about why they ran, what they learned, and why they felt their time on the committee was well spent.
