The Needham Select Board covered a lot of ground at their meeting on January 10th. From beautifying West Street with a new mural to the proposed dedication of a ‘Liberty Tree’ by the Needham Exchange Club, the Board heard a number of proposals on how to honor Needham’s past. They also thought about how to approach updating the town’s non-criminal fine structure, seeking to reconcile the past practices with the present.
