In this session, the Select Board heard about some unexpected windfalls that will be heading Needham’s way to help advance repairs along the town’s drainage and sewer systems. They also spoke with neighbors of the Needham Golf Course, during a public hearing to put up temporary fencing in an effort to establish a quiet zone for the MBTA. Timing both the pilot and the project remain an issue, as residents expressed a desire for immediate relief, and the board emphasized the importance of maintaining town protocol.
