The budget was the central topic of the evening. The committee heard directly from the Town Manager as to why money is tighter than expected this year, and also held their public hearing on the Superintendent’s proposal. They heard from the IT staff on the technology budget for schools and town, and made a hard decision on when to hold a final vote on the school department’s request.
