Zoning Board of Appeals, 6/15/23

Meeting in person for the first time since the pandemic, the Zoning Board of Appeals had a lively discussion on their decision process. While, ironically, the Needham Channel was unable to attend the session in person due to ongoing issues with our equipment at the Public Services Administration Building, we tune in to cover the meeting via Zoom. The Board also heard of plans to expand an existing day care operation on School Street. That meeting is currently available for viewing in the window below:

Case #1 – 72 School Street
72 School Street, LLC has applied for a Special Permit to waive strict adherence to the parking plan and design requirements. This request is associated with an addition of a second floor of approximately 1,500 square feet containing a play area for children, administrative offices and a 500 square foot apartment.
