The end of the school year is rapidly approaching, so the Needham School Committee had no time to waste after a late Town Meeting session the night before. Instead they plunged headlong into the Broadmeadow School Improvement Plan, and reviewed the handbooks for all of the town’s schools. There they found reason to question the district’s absenteeism policy, which led to a lengthy discussion.
