Zoning Board of Appeals, 5/16/24

It was a light agenda that waited for the Needham Zoning Board of Appeals as they gathered on May 16th, with most of their business postponed for a month, they had a chance to concentrate on the progress being made at the Emery Grover Building and the parking plan for the Town’s school administration. Case #1 – 1330 Highland Avenue

Consider a plan substitution for de minimis changes to the parking lot: 61 spaces instead of 62 parking spaces, adding four EV parking spaces and installing bollards.

Case #2 – 37 Moseley Avenue request to continue to 6/20/24
Owners applied for a Variance to permit the demolition of a deteriorated single family residential dwelling with detached garage and shed and to allow the construction of a new single-family residential dwelling with a side setback of 13.8 feet where 25 feet are required and a front yard setback of 20 feet where 30 feet are required. The lot contains 35,726 square feet, less than the required 43,560 square feet. This property is in the Single Residence A (SRA) Zoning District.
